Our second level has been extended even more:




There are also black walls at the beginning and end of the pipes. These represent the end of the level.


We also added some lighting this week, orange in level 1 and blue in level 2



It is only practical, lighting up the track but not interacting with the player's shadow, but hopefully we can add some more interactive lighting in the coming week. 

You can now interact with the objects that you run into! On impact, they will disappear and clear the way for you.


You may also notice in the above gif that the obstacles are coloured! Hopefully this makes avoiding them a bit easier. 

Alongside these, we also added music that plays through the whole game, and sound effects when you hit an obstacle. 

The music is Good Fellow by Komiku via Chosic, the sound effect for hitting obstacles is Coins sound via mixkit, and the level success sound is Achievement completed via mixkit. 


At a particularly difficult part of the track, we added a little fall risk sign as warning. 

Outside of these, we also did a lot of behind-the-scenes work with the UI and movement code, linking each of the levels together, changing the friction of the floor, and the gravity on the player, among other things!
